Maximizing Care and Efficiency: The Financial and Operational Benefits of Integrating Doulas in Hospice Agencies
Hospice agencies are facing increasing demands: high caseloads, staff burnout, and the need to balance quality care with financial sustainability. End-of-life doulas offer a creative, cost-effective solution.
This webinar explores how integrating doulas into hospice care can enhance patient and family satisfaction, reduce staff strain, and improve operational efficiency. Participants will learn the role and scope of end-of-life doulas, examine multiple strategies for integration—ranging from volunteer programs to contracted or salaried roles—and consider the financial and organizational benefits of adopting this model.
By the end of the session, attendees will walk away with practical approaches for bringing doulas into their agencies in ways that are flexible, sustainable, and aligned with regulatory and financial priorities.
